What would my PSE&G rebates add up to?

This is a guide built from PSE&G's published amounts. PSE&G decides every rebate, so confirm the amount before you buy.
How do I claim a PSE&G rebate?
There are two ways, and PSE&G's pages explain both. This is what its appliance page says, read on November 2, 2026.

For help with any residential program, call PSE&G's home energy line at 1-855-846-2895, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., or email PSEGHomeEnergy@icf.com. PSE&G serves only part of New Jersey, so check that your address is in its area before you buy.
What does not qualify, from PSE&G's program FAQ (read November 3, 2026): refurbished, open-box, rent-to-own, lease-to-own and layaway appliances; anything bought from another utility's online marketplace; and a post-purchase rebate on an item that already got an instant discount. Only current residential account holders can apply for post-purchase rebates, and PSE&G says most appliances have a limit on how many discounts or rebates one home can claim. The product page for each item gives the limit.
What are PSE&G's instant discounts?
These come off the price when you buy, in a store or online.

What do heat pumps and furnaces pay?
A participating contractor takes the rebate off your bill, so you do not wait for a check.
PSE&G also offers up to $25,000 in interest-free repayment on your bill for upgrades.
Can I get paid to recycle an old appliance?
Yes. PSE&G pays $150 for an old working refrigerator or freezer, and $50 more for a dehumidifier or room air conditioner. Call 1-844-356-4608. A drop-off event is set for November 14 in Maple Shade.
Does PSE&G give free help?
Yes. Home Weatherization gives a free energy check and upgrades at no charge. Comfort Partners gives free energy-saving help. Both are for income-qualified homes. Call 1-855-846-2895.
How does this fit the Clean Energy Future plan?

Can I get a rebate on a refrigerator from PSE&G in New Jersey?

Do open-box or leased appliances qualify for a PSE&G rebate?
No. PSE&G says refurbished, open-box, rent-to-own, lease-to-own and layaway appliances do not qualify. A lease-to-own receipt can qualify only if it shows a zero balance or the item was paid in full up front.
Is it okay to use two discounts on one purchase?
Usually only one applies per item. Call PSE&G first so you do not lose the better one.
