What to do about Titan now

Titan won’t fix anything, and its claim deadline passed. Your best help now comes from the part makers.

  1. Find your panel and inverter brands, then call those makers.
  2. Keep paying your lender. Titan closing didn’t cancel the loan.
  3. Got a court notice? You’re not in bankruptcy, and no action is required.

03 · The court notice

Why did I get a bankruptcy notice about Titan Solar?

The court sent notices to people Titan likely put panels in for. It even wrote a plain FAQ for Titan customers.

What the notice meansFrom the court’s FAQ
  • Titan likely installed panels at your home
  • Titan is closed and won’t provide services
  • You may be owed money, which makes you a “creditor”
What it doesn’t meanAlso from the court’s FAQ
  • You are not in bankruptcy
  • No action is required unless you choose it
  • Your loan with a lender didn’t end
Read it yourself: the court’s Titan Solar FAQ explains the notice, the claim form and the deadline.
Where the case stands: the trustees asked the court to approve a settlement among the Titan companies, with a hearing on November 20, 2025. The court’s Titan page still says most of the cases appear to have no money for creditors.
04 · Loan and warranty

Do I still pay my Titan Solar loan? Is my warranty still good?

Usually, yes, you still pay. And your equipment warranties often still count. Titan’s own install warranty is the part that’s gone.

Your loanStill yours to pay
  • Titan’s closing didn’t end it
  • The lender’s name is on your statement
  • Ask it about any work Titan never finished
Your partsBacked by the makers
  • Panels, inverters and batteries keep maker warranties
  • Find each brand on your contract or the labels
  • A licensed installer can file the claim for you
Titan’s install warranty is gone. It covered Titan’s own work, like wiring, roof mounts and seals. With no crews left, no one honors it. Keep every repair receipt with your solar papers.

What warning signs did Titan Solar show before it closed?

Titan gave few public warnings. But looking back, there were some.

  1. Titan sold through outside dealers, so many customers never dealt with Titan directly. Its fast sucess hid service gaps, an insurer told trade press.
  2. Nevada’s contractor board put Titan on probation after customer complaints.
  3. Titan told workers it was closing after it failed to find a buyer.

07 · Quick answers

Titan Solar bankruptcy questions, answered

Is Titan Solar still in business?

No. Titan Solar Power stopped operating on June 13, 2024, and filed Chapter 7 on June 20, 2024. Chapter 7 means the company is closing and selling what’s left. The bankruptcy court says Titan won’t provide services to customers. Its claim deadline passed on March 11, 2025.

Will Titan Solar customers get any money back?

Probably little or nothing. The court’s Titan page says most of the Titan cases appear to have no money to pay creditors. In 2025, the trustees asked the court to approve a settlement among the Titan companies. If money does turn up, claims filed on time, by March 11, 2025, are paid before late ones.

When did Titan Solar file for bankruptcy?

Titan Solar filed Chapter 7 on June 20, 2024, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona. Related Titan companies filed on June 28, 2024. The cases are handled together under case number 2:24-bk-04978. Titan had stopped work a week earlier, on June 13.

Can I still file a claim against Titan Solar?

The claim deadline was March 11, 2025, so it has passed. If you filed a claim, keep your claim number and papers. If you didn’t, a bankruptcy lawyer or legal aid can tell you if any option is left for you.

Do I still have to pay my Titan Solar loan?

Usually, yes. The court notes that many Titan customers still make payments on their solar loans. Titan closing didn’t cancel your loan with a lender. Falling behind can show up on your credit report, so call the lender before you skip a payment.

Who fixes my Titan Solar panels now?

Titan can’t send crews. For a failed part, the maker’s warranty may cover it. Hire a licensed solar installer for the labor. Vet the installer’s license and record, and get a written price before work starts. Ask if they can file maker warranty claims for you.

Is my Titan Solar warranty still good?

It depends on which one. Equipment warranties come from the panel and inverter makers, so they often still count. Titan’s own install warranty, which covered the work itself, is likely gone. Save every repair quote and receipt. Find the part brands on your contract or labels.

Why did I get a bankruptcy notice about Titan Solar?

The court sent notices to people Titan likely installed panels for. Titan had to list customers who may be owed money. The notice is for your information. It doesn’t mean you owe anything new. The court says no action is required unless you choose it.

Am I in bankruptcy because of the Titan Solar notice?

No. The court says getting a Titan notice doesn’t mean you are in bankruptcy. No action is required unless you choose to take it. Keep the notice with your solar papers in case you need it later. Your loan with a lender didn’t end either.

How many people did Titan Solar owe?

Titan listed between 5,001 and 10,000 creditors, local news reported. Creditors include customers, workers and companies the business owed money to. Most customers in cases like this are paid little or nothing. The claim deadline passed in March 2025. Equipment warranties are often a better path.

Where can Titan Solar customers report problems?

In Arizona, the attorney general’s office asked Titan customers to report problems. In other states, contact your state attorney general. Include your contract, photos and any letters you sent the company. Send copies, not originals, and note the date of each call.

Is there a Titan Solar customer service number?

Not one that helps customers. Titan closed in June 2024, and the court says it won’t provide services. For case questions, call the court’s automated line at (866) 222-8029, or a trustee listed on the court’s Titan page. For repairs, call your part makers or a licensed installer.

Who services Titan Solar systems now?

Titan can’t fix anything. In 2025, a repair company called EnergyAid bought Titan’s records to help stranded owners, Solar Power World reported. You can also call any licensed installer. Ask your panel and inverter makers about their warranties first. Get a price before any work starts.

Why didn’t my salesperson work for Titan?

Titan sold most systems through outside dealers. The dealer made the sale, and Titan did the install. That’s why many owners never dealt with Titan directly. Your dealer may be gone too, so your contract and the makers’ warranties are your best guides.

Is there free help for Titan customers?

Yes. Solar United Neighbors, a nonprofit, gives solar owners free guidance, ABC15 reported. Your state attorney general also takes complaints. Arizona’s attorney general looked into Titan’s business practices. Bring your contract, loan papers and photos of any problems when you ask for help. Free help can save you from paying for advice you don’t need.
