Cancellation fees as high as $6,000
In Soligo’s BBB complaints, customers disputed cancellation fees of these amounts:
- $2,500
- $3,500
- $4,000
- $6,000
One customer said they were billed a cancellation fee for a project they never agreed to. Soligo replied that the fee is valid under the signed contract. Its replies often point to the contract and say its sales reps are contractors.
Money disputes came up in 9 of its 20 complaints, and broken sales promises in 9 more. One customer was told they would pay almost nothing to the power company, then saw their costs go up. Soligo says the system works as designed. Before you sign, find the cancellation section and the fee amount.

Door-to-door reps, even past no-soliciting signs
Several complaints say Soligo reps kept knocking at homes with no-soliciting signs.
Door-to-door conduct made up most of the “other” complaints, 8 in all. Slow replies were the most common problem overall, in 12 of 20. One customer waited over two months for a final inspection and permission to turn the system on.
Soligo answered all 20 complaints, and 4 were marked resolved. With no pattern flag from the BBB, these complaints cost no points. Still, you can always ask a rep to leave and come back with written prices. Pestered by sales calls instead? Our Momentum Solar review shows how to make them stop.

How Soligo scores 60
Soligo earned full marks for its legal record, its own crews and its BBB grade. Missing paperwork cost it the most.
Soligo missed 40 points. Contract terms cost 21, because we found no written warranty of any kind. No posted prices or loan fees took another 11. It lost 6 more for having no certified installer. Being a younger company cost 2.

Its warranty is not on its website
We found no warranty page. Soligo’s terms say warranty and financing promises come in separate signed documents.
That means the only place to see your warranty is the paperwork you sign. Its terms also say the prices and savings shown on its site are estimates. Ask for the warranty, in writing, before you sign anything.
